A few months before graduating from high school I went to see my high school Guidance Counselor! That's what everyone else did so that's what I did! I told her that I had decided to go to college and I asked her for words of widson. - Man, what an eye opener that meeting was!
Frankly, I didn't really know what a High School Counselor's (HSGC) Job was BUT when I left her office I felt like I was definately a dumb-ass. She told me that I was not cut out for college and that I should probably go to a trade school and learn a trade instead of thinking about college. Fournately I ignored her comments and proceeded to work my plans.
To be honest I cannot totally blame her because my high school grades sucked! I still don't know how in the hell I got into college. I must have Killed that SAT. But I got in. It took me four years and six months to graduate. But I did!
